Naomi Fleming Gibson, age 76, peacefully transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at home. Preceded in death by parents Robert L. Fleming and Susie M. McKinney Fleming, husband Johnnie Gibson, brothers Willie Odell Thomas Fleming (Jolene), Charles Fleming (Ethel), James Fleming (Peggy), Harold Fleming (Alberta and Maria), Jacob Fleming and sister Virginia Marie Fleming. She is survived by her daughter Linda Fleming-Willis (William), grandson William K. Willis, III (Trey), granddaughter Imani S. K. Willis, sisters Jacquelyn Herndon and Mary McGuire, brothers Robert Fleming (Lois), Louis Fleming (Velma), Theol (Katherine) Fleming, and a host of loving relatives, extended family members and friends.
IN LIEU OF FLOWWERS, the deceased has requested donations to the Fleming-McKinney Family Scholarship in care of Linda Fleming-Willis,in her memory.
